52NURBANCOLLECTIVE     REVIEW
Ascension – Bank Holiday Sunday 29th August 2004

The Urban Collective boys were back in business for the summer instalment.
Hugely anticipated, the boys delivered! Kicking off the actioned packed night were Beano Brown & Benzi with a mix of smooth r&b flows from Beano, & a blend of funky house & garage from the boy Benzi. With things rolling on & the club quickly filling, Kilbz took to the stage & layed down a lively set filled with plenty of anthems to get the party started. Newcomer Jodi then took centre stage on the microphone giving us a taste of things to come, with her song “Me & my girls” & then a great cover of Sunshine Anderson’s “Heard it all before”.
With the atmosphere at melting point, enter Stretch Taylor with MC Chris Smoove. With 1 ˝ hours of solid party tunes, Stretch rocked the capacity crowd.
Just as things couldn’t get better, future uk r&b sensation Jason Jermaine took to the mic & gave us a dose of the uk r&b talent to look out for. To end the evening on a high, Luke G took us back on an old school tip.
Look out for information on our Boxing Day special!
